CRLAB Treatment and Hair Replacement
Our hair systems are a far cry from a wig! Although they look similar, hair systems are a much better solution for everyday life. The biggest advantage of the CRLAB hair system is that it does not move once it has been attached on the head. In contrast, wigs have to be taken off every day. A hair system can stay in place for even longer than a month, which saves a lot of time in everyday life. The hair replacement also looks much more natural. With a hair system, you can enjoy everyday life without worrying! Whether you want to swim, cycle or run – nothing slips out of place!
Unlike many other solutions, you don’t have to shave your own hair for the system to be attached to the head.
Our hair systems look like your own hair. By manually placing each individual hair, the result looks completely natural. You can style your new hair the way you want – just the way you want it. Whether blow-drying, highlighting, curling or coloring, everything is possible!
Having any type of surgery, such as hair transplantation, usually involves lots of preparation time, high levels of stress, and a lengthy recovery. Non-surgical hair replacement is a convenient and pain-free method to gain the full head of hair you have always dreamed about!
Before starting treatment, you should meet with our specialists in Graz. During the initial consultation, they will assess your hair type, the condition of your scalp and address your individual problems and wishes.
The entire manufacturing process of the system is done by had, consists of a total of 39 steps and is divided into six phases:
PHASE 1 – Measurement and mould
We start by taking precise measurements of the area where you need hair replacement. A mould is made to replicate the shape of your head, including any imperfections.
PHASE 2 – 3D-replication
Using a 3D printer at our facility in Zola Predosa (BO), we create an exact replica of your head. This is then used to make the base of the system.
PHASE 3 – Colour matching
To achieve a perfect colour match with your natural hair, we look at different blends of 100% untreated natural hair. The selected combination is carefully matched.
PHASE 4 – Adding pigments
Natural pigments, colour-matched to your scalp, are added to the polymer base produced in our laboratories. This base becomes your ‘second scalp’.
PHASE 5 – Planting the hair
The new hair is added to the base manually. Each hair is carefully individually placed to ensure a natural look, respecting the natural distribution, movement and direction of your own hair.
PHASE 6 – Fitting the hair system
When the system is done, it’s time to apply it on. This is done at our centre in Graz. While you are there, you can also have your new hair cut and styled.

The hair system should be refreshed every month to clean the base. However, the frequency also depends on the oiliness of the scalp and could be needed between 2-4 weeks. Monthly cleaning costs € 125,00. Once a year, depending on the oiliness of your scalp, the hair system should be sent to Italy. There, the individual hairs are filled in and the base is restored. This process costs € 500,00 and takes about 6 to 8 weeks.
It is advisable to change your hair system every two to three years. For this reason, there is a discount if you order two hair systems at the same time. This also ensures that you have a system to wear during the restoration of the other one. Proper care guarantees a long life for your hair system.
